Greetings!
Hello and welcome!
If you are like me, a VFR rated private pilot in the real world, perhaps you find all of VATSIM’s airline related operations, with its emphasis on Class B Airports and passenger carrying to be interesting, but not the true meaning of flight.
You have come to the right place. The New York Flying Club lets you log time in your favorite Airplane, single Engine, Land (ASEL) as well as a few twins and turbines.
We do not emphasize the business end of flight. We represent the little guy, the low flying people that still navigate by looking out the window, and fly slow enough to see what is there.
With our home bases at Farmingdale-Republic, Islip-MacArthur, Teterboro-New Jersey and Danbury-Connecticut, we are perfectly situated to interact with Class B, C and D airspace on our way to and from Allentown, Eastern Pennsylvania and other smaller airports in the area.
Whether you are a licensed pilot, an experienced VA Captain or just a plain old “I just bought the game because it looked cool,” Newbie, NYFC is a great place to be.
